With offices in both Southeast Idaho and Central Arkansas, Blue Knight Corporation provides local and nationwide transports for criminal prisoner extradition.

BKC currently contracts with Police and Sheriff agencies as well as Correctional Facilities throughout the United States. We employ more than 50 off-duty and retired state and federally certified law enforcement officers from various local, state and federal agencies.

All transport officers have undergone a law enforcement background check and polygraph examination. Each officer is currently qualified in firearms and arrest techniques, defensive tactics, CPR and Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVOC). Many officers are also instructors in these areas of expertise and other law enforcement related specialties.

BKC’s mission is to provide safe, expeditious transports and extraditions to law enforcement agencies using certified off-duty and retired police officers.

How We Complete Our Transports

BKC completes our transports and extraditions primarily through the use of commercial air travel. We also utilizes company owned vehicles that are outfitted with kick screens and window barriers. Each vehicle is equipped with medical equipment, multiple communication devices, body armor, food and water.

BKC can provide transports in both an armed and un-armed capacity. We also have the option of sending multiple officers for high risk or high profile cases.

Our company holds two million dollars in general liability insurance as well as an additional one million dollars in commercial auto insurance. Your agency can be named as an “additional insured” on these policies if required. We incur all liability during a transport with the exception of pre-existing medical conditions.

BKC has the ability to respond for a nationwide transport in as little as 12 hours, and we can bring your inmate directly to your facility. On average your inmate will be out of the holding correctional facility for 10-15 hours as we respond specifically to your transport need versus a traveling bus.
